Peony Garden Wall: using a set linear length, a wall was designed to work with the natural elements, paths and landscape.


Study Space for a Fellow, A body wrapped: an interior space was designed to fit the necessary study programs for the fellow in the back of an existing library.



Live Work Live, Home Bodies: A space for a fellow studying culinary arts. The Program required cooking, dining, and sleeping areas.



Construction 1: Pencil on Velum

Semester 2: PY2, Programing & Site
Programing the site: for the multiple programs; shipping, storing and staying, spaces were designed and organized over a large site.


Siting the Program: Using Food as the theme, Cooking, feeding and staying were the programs applied in a compact site.


Semester 3: PY3, Material & Program
Material Studies using mnemonic methods.
Wood: a random conglomeration of pieces creates a whole. the cutting of the block revealed the inner mnemonic process.


Metal: Folding, Bending and attaching reveals the malleability of the material and creates sheltered spaces.

Plastic: the clarity of the material makes the process, edge and construction of the pieces visible.

Automated Programs, bodies at work: using two automated programs, a car wash and a Gym, the two share the space and focus on the beautification and exhibition of the body.

Semester 4: PY4, Detroit City and Art
Garbage Power: Driving around Detroit, we were to find a piece of garbage from an illegal dump and do a material study on the object and its relation the space. Mine was a Eureka Vacuum. 

Interface, trying to reconnect: Using the main avenue Gratiot, sociologically and site studies of the sounding areas were done to connect my site to the surrounding graffiti art scene. The space is interested in teaching, housing and displaying artists of the surrounding area.
